This blog is dedicated to the women who live with an illness, and still manage to live life to the fullest. Living with an illness can be very difficult. I am here to share useful information, experiences and support. We have to take control, and learn to love our life. When my favorite pair of jeans don't fit...I just go buy another pair! ღ

Really? I didn't realize that. I know I've only normally heard of women getting it, but I didn't realize how it would effect men who are diagnosed with it. Good post.
Yep. I've come across several men the suffer with lupus, but far less than women.

I also have friends in Indonesia lupus foundation, he was at first difficult to accept especially because he is a man. but now he can accept it and survive in the yield of useful work ^^
That is good to hear. I can only imagine how difficult it can be for a man.
This is the first I've heard of a man with this condition. Thanks for the eye opener!

I recently met a man who shared with me he had Lupus and he said just what you have stated that he thought it was a woman's disease and couldn't understand how he got it.
Very interesting article, thank you for sharing.
Your very welcome. I hope that he now has more understanding and is at peace with his situation. This is the only way he can move forward and live his life to the fullest.
