 In approximately 10 percent of all lupus cases, individuals will have symptoms and signs of more than one connective tissue disease. A physician may use the term "overlap syndrome" or "mixed connective tissue disease" to describe this condition.

I think that's one of the most frustrating things about this type of disease - the symptoms overlap so it's never clear what is actually flaring up sometimes. I like the quick facts.

That is exactly right Petula. Sometimes we don't know what is going on with in our bodies. SMH just have to deal as best we can. :-)
